Purple Cabbage Fried Ric


  • 1/4 purple cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 carrots, peeled & cut into strips
  • ½ capsicum & onion cut into strips (optional)
  • 1/3 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 3 tablespoons PICKLD Sesame Seasoning Premium Blend
  • Salt & pepper to taste

    How To Cook :

    Step 1

    In a pan, add 4 cups of water, rinse buckwheat and add it to the pan and cook for about 20 min

    Step 2

    n the meantime, remove the core of the capsicum by cutting at the top and remove any lose seeds inside

    Step 3

    Transfer the cooked buckwheat into a bowl, add the mint seasoning, oil, salt and pepper and mix the well using a spatula

    Step 4

    Stuff the capsicum with mint flavored buckwheat

    Step 5

    Heat the oven at 180C and in a baking tray, place the stuffed the stuffed capsicum, rub the capsicum with the remainder oil and bake it for 15 min. Serve it hot. Serve with yogurt or our avocado mint and lime sauce. Refer to recipe under our side dish section.
