Sesame Seasoned Seed Crackers


  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • ½ – ¾ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon PICKLD Sesame Seasoning Premium Blend
  • 1 tablespoon axseeds for sprinkling on top (optional)

    How To Cook :

    Step 1

    Preheat oven to 170° C.

    Step 2

    In a food processor, pulse the sunflower seeds and pepitas into a grainy flour (approximately 30 seconds).

    Step 3

    Add the remaining ingredients to the processor and pulse until well combined.

    Step 4

    If desired, knead axseeds into mix or these can be sprinkled on top before baking.

    Step 5

    Roll mix out between two sheets of baking paper until approximately ½ cm thick

    Step 6

    Remove the top baking paper sheet and transfer the rolled out mix onto a tray. Score with a knife into squares.

    Step 7

    Bake for 15 minutes or until crackers begin to turn golden and crisp. Allow crackers to cool before breaking along the scored lines.

    Step 8

    Serving suggestion: Serve with hummus (topped with PICKLD Sesame Seasoning Blend) or with avocado smash (topped with PICKLD Mint Seasoning Blend).
